The Architects
Morrelli and Melvin Design
Gino Morrelli, noted designer of high performance, ocean racing and F-40 Multihulls,
including ³Stars and Stripes², 1988 America¹s Cup winner and
Pete Melvin, Olympic Tornado sailor and aerospace engineer, have combined
their talents to form a design and engineering service. They are designers
of Playstation, the 125 foot racing supercat. Andrew Harrell, now chief designer
of New Zealand¹s 2002 America¹s Cup boat, was part of the CATTIVA
design team.
The Builder
Stephen Bull Yachtbuilders, Ltd
Stephen Bull's expertise lies in high-tech, lightweight materials, using innovative
solutions with aesthetic sensitivity. He is based in Silverdale, North Auckland,
New Zealand.
